"Frustrated"
J & R Racing Team Journal

The J & R Racing team faced yet another frustrating night at the track.
Saturday, August 11 produced more of the same chagrin that J.P Morgan has
faced frequently over the last few months.
According to J.P., "It is just
frustrating to know you have a good car and not be able to run well with
it. It seems every time we have a good car with the right set up, it ends
up back at the chassis shop. Surely this can’t be all bad luck."
Since the beginning of the season, the team has spent more time than not
rebuilding cars that were already running at the top of their class.
J.P.’s practice times prove his car is among the fastest on the track.
Yet, when the real race begins, obstacles start appearing out of nowhere,
not to mention the other cars.
When asked if the team has considered making any adjustment, J.P. stated,
"We are considering trying a different track. If we have this continuous
misfortune there, then obviously we need to make some corrections.
However, a track with more mature and seasoned drivers might be more
conducive to our style of racing."
The latest mishap at the track has left the J & R Racing team with two
unfinished cars. This week will be spent completing both cars as well as
deciding where the team wants to race the next event. The J & R Racing
team is looking forward to the bigger races at Martinsville, Myrtle
Beach, Caraway, South Boston and Southern National.
