True Value “Night at the Races” at South Boston

South Boston, VA….”America’s Hometown Track” welcomes the True Value MotorSports Experience to Virginia’ Racing Region on March 24th. Racing fans from around the region will have the opportunity to participate in “Pit Crew” competitions, prize giveaways, and customer discounts all courtesy of regional True Value stores. The True Value MotorSports Experience will showcase the pit crew challenge and an IROC show car. Customers and fans will have the opportunity to win valuable prizes and see the very best in NASCAR short track racing all in one night. Special discounts and tickets will be available at 10 True Value stores across the region.

NASCAR’s Textilease Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division will headline a full schedule of racing. The legendary late models will be featured in Twin 75s, with Limited Sportsman, Super Stocks, and Pure Stock 4s rounding out a super-charged night of racing excitement. During the event, lucky fans will have the opportunity to win up to $100.00 in gift certificates to their local True Value store.

The True Value MotorSports Experience will visit area True Value stores during the week, leading up to the race. The following locations will be participating in the experience:

Fans Dash For Cash At South Boston’s Truck Race in Virginia

South Boston, VA….On September 28th, South Boston Speedway will host it’s inaugural event for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. To celebrate this auspicious event, five lucky race fans, and their guests, will win VIP fantasy trips to the event and a chance for each to win $50,000.

Contestants must be 18 or older to enter. The contest is void where prohibited. The entry deadline is Friday, August 24th.

From April until August, at the end of each month, one finalist will be randomly selected and announced. Each finalist will receive airline tickets, hotel accommodations, rental car, VIP Suite passes, the chance to meet all the stars of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the official radio super stars “John Boy & Billy”.

On Race Day, Friday, September 28th, each of the finalists will randomly pick a number corresponding to a truck in the race. The finalist’s truck that finishes highest in the race will receive a cash prize of $5,000.

The finalists will return their number and draw again, this time randomly selecting three numbers corresponding to trucks in the race. If any one finalist picks the trucks that finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the race, a $250,000 cash annuity will be shared equally by the five finalists.
