The competition in the Budweiser Pro Late Model division at Lanier is among the best weekly racing action in the nation. 2000 Lanier Pro Late Model champion Tony Bennett will headline a field of expected entries Saturday that includes Jamie Stephens Jr, Shane Chastain, Clay Dale, Tom Hardy, Mike Love, Debris Brown, and Stacy Long. 20

Qualifying will begin at 6 PM with heat races scheduled shortly after 7 PM. Eight lap trophy dash races will follow which involve the six fastest qualifiers of the two divisions that participate in time trials that evening. Lanier fans have an opportunity to win prizes and show off their racing knowledge when they participate in NASCAR jeopardy prior to feature events. 20
