GREENVILLE, SC (Mar 29, 2001) - The Greenville Pickens Speedway will host True Value "Night at the Races" on Saturday, March 31, with racing scheduled for the Late Models, Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and Charger divisions. The True Value Motorsports Experience, a 40 X 70 foot interactive display has made the Upstate part of the 2001 national tour and will offer visitors the opportunity to personally experience the world of racing like never before.

Bobby Labonte's True Value IROC race car, which will be used to conduct the Pit Crew Challenge, is the major attraction on the True Value Motorsports Experience. This interactive event pits fans in a race against the clock to change a tire, as if they were part of a real pit crew. The True Value Motorsports Experience will be set up in the turn one area next to the grandstands, and will be available for fan participation from 4pm until the start of the races at 8pm.

Adult general admission for this event will be $10.00, with children under 12 admitted free with a paying adult. Gates will open at 4pm, with the first race set to go at 8. The Greenville Pickens Speedway is located at the intersection of highways 123 and 124 between Greenville and Easley.
