Darlington,SC (March 31, 2001) -- Robert Huffman, in his White House Apple Juice Racing Toyota Celica, posted the fastest lap timeout of twenty-four Goody's Dash Series, NASCAR Touring teams testing at the Darlington Raceway.

The teams were preparing for their Saturday, May 12, 2001 event at the track known as "Too Tough to Tame."

Huffman is the defending Series Champion, having won three consecutive titles. He has teamed with Toyota Racing Development for the 2001 campaign.

Other unofficial fast times were posted by Jake Hobgood and Joey Miller, in Pontiac Sunfires.

Huffman credits his fast time to his team and the preparation that they have put forthin finding more horsepower for his Toyota powerplant. The fact that Huffman has competed at Darlington in the Busch Grand National Series also has to be a factor. Experience can be a priceless commodity when competing a a track that carries such a reputation for being a "driver's" track.
