York Wins and Closes Narrows Gap In Points Chase To 4
September 15, 2001 – Asheboro, N.C.— The Reidsville Rocket, known as Jason York continues to close the gap on Billy Hogan of Troy’s points lead.
After winning tonight’s 50 lap NASCAR Late Model Stock event, York is just 4 points shy of Hogan in the track points chase. Jerry Burr of Asheboro
finished in second spot and is currently third in track points just 32 points shy of Hogan. Hogan came in third tonight and rounding out the top five
finishers were Junior Cox of Asheboro and Buddy Allred of Randleman. Hogan will be going to Orlando, Florida in November to attend the NASCAR
Weekly Racing Series Awards banquet representing Caraway Speedway in the Blue Ridge Region.
