York Grabs First Win of 2001 at Caraway

Billy Hogan set quick time with a 17.50 and drew the pole for Saturday nights 150 lap race at Caraway Speedway. Jerry Burr would take the lead early on from the outside pole, Burr held on until a late race pass by Jason York, which also opened the door for Hogan.

York, Hogan and Burr were the top 3 with Nathan Buttke coming from the rear for 4th and Steve Loftin rounding out the top 5.

19 cars started the race, which was red-flagged after Jimmy Mullins broke a rear-end and collected Brad Brinkley early in the race.
