Butler to pull "Triple Duty" this weekend.

By Jim Wright

Brandon Butler and the Bailey's #29 crew have a busy weekend planned for the 3rd,4th, and 5th of August. The crew is looking at putting in some over time to accommodate the schedule. Running three days at three different tracks is tough, but the team feels very confident they are up for the challenge.

Friday, August 3rd the Bailey's team will be at Southampton Motor Speedway to defend their track points lead. Brandon has not had the best of luck the last couple of weeks at SMS. A few on track mishaps have thrown setups off and made it tough to find victory lane. "We feel like our turn is right around the corner," Butler said. "We just need to stay out of trouble and we will be alright." Currently Brandon leads the points by 4 over Doug Godsey.

Saturday, August 4th Brandon and the crew will be at Old Dominion Speedway for the Bailey's 200. We are looking forward to this weeks 200. Last time up there we had a real good run working before being caught up in a wreck. If nothing gets bent we expect to be up front again this weekend.

Sunday, August 5th the #29 crew heads back to South Boston Speedway. Competition has been tough the last few events which has made for some great racing. Timothy Peters has really been running great and is always tough. Eddie Johnson, Scott Worley, H.C. Sellars are all cars that have run well and should be right in the mix for the 100 lapper on Sunday. Currently Brandon leads the points by 18 over Timothy Peters. With the record at South Boston, Brandon is currently the Atlantic Seaboard Region points leader. "The Bailey's machine with the Dannie Cox Racing engine has been doing very well for us." Butler says. "We are looking forward to the run on Sunday."
