Speedy Faucette Takes First Win at Ace

Phillip "Speedy" Faucette took his first career win in the 75-Lap Late Model feature at Ace Speedway on June 15, 2001. Faucette started second and didn't take the lead until lap 22 passing Richard Bailey for the lead.

Todd Massey challenged Faucette midway in the race before Faucette pulled ahead. Brian King mounted a late charge to finish second with Massey, Causey, and York rounding out the top five.

Bailey, Oliver, Rumley, Holyfield Jr, Griffin, Gray, Young, Perry and Fogleman completed the field.
