JASON YORK TAKES FIRST WIN OF THE YEAR

Jason York, from Reidsville, NC took home his first win of the year at Ace Speedway this Friday night, May 18th on the Larry Isley Memorial Night. York, known as the "The Reidsville Rocket, collected his 4th career win at Ace in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series 75 lap event for the Budweiser Late Model Stock Cars.

York started in second spot and took the lead from Todd Massey on lap 18 of the race. Brian King finished second after he and Gary Causey swapped the second spot several times during the race. King and Causey are now tied for the point lead. Mark Rumley finished fourth with Speedy Faucette rounding out the top 5..

Todd Massey from Haw River, NC won the special Super Dirt Car race over Neil Welch, Randy Apple, Jimmy Jarrett, and Randy Benfield.

Roy Cook from Mebane, NC won the Dave's Discount Furniture Modified race over Bill Wilder, G.C. Agee, Jerry Scott, Larry Cook, early leader Ed Underwood, and Dick Shirley. Rookie Brian Owens from Thomasville, NC won the YMC Mortgage Company Super Stock race over Jimmy Rice, Phil Bryant, Billy Radford Jr. & Eddie Way completing the first 5.

Ricky Sykes from Haw River, NC won again in the Kennedy Oil Company Mini Stock race with Corey Agee, Billy Radford Sr., Donnie West and Mike Tester making up the top 5. Ryan Davis won the Extreme Car race over Bradley Hayes, Joey Welborn, Chad Sykes & Chase Tate rounding out the top 5.

This Friday Night, May 25th it's another great night of NASCAR Weekly Racing Series action on Currents Classic Cycles Night with Twin 35 lap races for the Budweiser Late Models plus races for the Dave's Discount Furniture Modifieds, the YMC Mortgage Company Super Stocks, the Kennedy Oil Company Mini Stocks, and the Extreme Cars starting at 8:00.
