Massey Brothers Both Win at Ace

Altamahaw, NC (Apr 20, 2001) - Todd and Mike Massey tonight became the first brothers to each win a NASCAR WRS event on the same night at the Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, NC. Todd won the Budweiser Late Model Stock Car race while his younger brother, Mike, won the YMC Super Stock event.

The 75 lap Late Model race was basically a two-man show as Massey and Gary Gausey battled it out for most of the race. Causey started on the pole in the inversion of the top 5 fastest qualifiers. Seventy-five laps later, Massey got his first win of the year by three car lengths over Causey.

Brian King finished third, fastest qualifier Jason York finished fourth and Richard Bailey finished fifth.
